We agree with you thought on Green and the rest.

We're not trying to kill Iggy, we actually think he is a solid NBA player. We just are asking him to step and take over these last four games for the Sixers because with Thad and Brand out he has to be play like an All-Star for the Sixers to succeed

Like I said, I do agree overall with your thoughts and agree Iggy must raise his scoring to win without Thad. But, on the other side, it takes the other players giving Izzy a chance. I am very tired of Willie, Reggie and Sammy missing shots, not passing to the hot hand and losing the games.

So, yes I agree but did not feel he is as bad as you made him sound.

We aware of the basketballvalue site, we like the site and understand it's purposes. That being said, you can crunch and massage the stats any way you want, Iguodala is not a top 10 player in this league on any scale -- period. Based on basketballvalue's stat geek approach and your belief in their numbers, Iggy would be "ranked" as a better player then Kobe and a host of other elite NBA players. C'mon even Billy King would laugh at those rankings. As a group of basketball purists we can agree with you that scoring is and should not be the only way to measure a player's impact. However in today's NBA the way a player "carry's" a team or acts like the "hero" we are demanding is to go out there, take the game into his hands and put up whole bunch of points on a given night. For the Sixers it's even more important over the last 4, now 3 games that Iggy shake out of his inconsitent ways and do this, because the Sixers are desperate and you and I both know that Sam, Reggie and Wille G. are not going to raiase their games to a new level.

I think your thoughts are overall correct but you need to base a player's playing not on just points. There are many ways Iggy helps our team and points are just in 1 way. There is a site that gives a balance facts on players: http://basketballvalue.com/topplayers.php?year=2008-2009

Iggy has dropped from #1 earlier this year to #8. Still excellent however in the league.
