CONGRATS TO @theKIDET

Obviously inserting Evan Turner in to the 76ers starting lineup has had a tremendous impact on the team.  To say the change has revitalized this franchise after a terrible (but short) slump that caused a lot of folks to leap off the bandwagon is an understatement.

During ET’s recent three-game stretch (BOS; UTA; NYK), the #2 overall pick in the 2010 Draft is averaging 22 points, 11.3 rebounds and 3.3 dimes per night while shooting 60% from the field.  The 7-6 have won all three of those games (3-1 overall) and during Turner’s recent hot streak they have now scored 100 or more points in three straight games for the first time since March 2011. 

Whether you are on the street or listening to the radio in you car, Turner is the talk of Philadunkia nation.  But, hoop heads in Philadelphia are not alone in their admiration of Turner’s recent play.  It seems Twitter-land has taken notice of ET’s skill and all sorts of people are showing ET the love via the social media network.
