The Sixers put the lid on a very nice 2012 preseason last night with a win over the NYK in Syracuse.  Even without a true point man (Holiday and Turner were rested & Wayns got injured during the game) the 7-6 looked very impressive last night.  In case you did not watch it online, Dei Lynam at csnphilly.com has this recap.  We’ll post some of our own thoughts later today.

Sir Charles had some comments on what the acquisition of Bynum will mean for the 76ers.

Ian Thomsen at SI.com loves what he sees from the teams in the Atlantic Division.

SI.com lists the Sixers home opener vs. Dre and the Nuggs as one of the games to watch this season.  We agree!!!

We all know that “The Answer” had a killer crossover, but over at Ball Don’t Lie they have posted a video of Iverson getting faked out of his jock strap during his rookie season by none other then former Cav point man Mark Price.

The Sixers are getting no respect in the annual preseason NBA GM’s survey.

A quick search of craigslist brings up this great piece of Sixers memorabilia for just $10.

Over at depressedfan.com they posted a tremendous breakdown of Evan Turner’s skills and role on this Sixers team.

Via Twitter we see that Sixers CEO Adam Aron (@SixersCEOAdam) wants your prediction on how may wins the 7-6 will rack up in 2012-13.
