On Saturday the 76ers announced that have acquired a D-League franchise and will move it Delaware…Ladies and gentlemen please welcome your Delaware 87ers…Wait, what?  It’s not a misprint.

Brian at is not very excited about the D-League announcement.

A quick “76ers” search on craigslist brings back this signed gem from the 1983 team.

Dei Lynam at reported that the Sixers have contacted Pacers assistant coach Brian Shaw. has the Sixers selecting 11th in the 2013 Draft and picking Giannis Adetokoubo who plays in Greece.  Check out the video of this 6-9 kid.  I’ve seen bigger crowds at Chester vs. Lower Merion district playoff games.

Hoops Habit predicts the Sixers will grab Glenn Robinson III with the 11th pick in 2013.

John Mitchell of attempts connect some dots in Atlanta and deduces that Larry Drew the current head coach of the Hawks may have interest in the 76ers coaching vacancy.  However, there is a catch…Drew’s Hawks team is currently in the playoffs and has a huge game tonight at home vs. Indiana.

According to Pro Basketball Talk, JJ Redick has not spoken to Bucks head coach Jim Boylan since the playoffs started.  A lot of folks think JJ would look good in a Sixers uniform next year.

Former 76er Andre Iguodala and his Denver Nuggs are on the brink of playoff elimination.  After their latest loss, which put them in a 3-1 deficit, Kenneth Faried kicked a hole in the locker room wall.  Faried said, “I hate losing with a passion.  I hate losing more than I like winning.”  Dre on the other hand had no reaction to the loss because he was too busy on Twitter.

Speaking of Twitter…Via Twitter and Instagram we learn that Lavoy Allen spent the weekend in LA and D-Wright was in Vegas.

With regards to the Sixers looking to take Glenn Robinson III, didn’t he announce that he’s going back to school?
