Kim Kardashin and another set of her “racy” photos recently attempted to break the Internet. I am not sure how close the former Mrs. Kris Humphries came to shutting down the inter-web with her “classy” nude pictorial, but I am willing to bet that the 76ers’ disaster last night in Dallas put just as much stress on Al Gore’s invention as Kim K did earlier this week.
As you know by now the Sixers lost to the Mavericks last night by 53 points and dropped to 0-8. The loss was the largest margin of defeat since 1993 (56-point loss to the Sonics) and the franchise is now 0-8 for the first time since the notorious 1972-73 season. Last night, Philadunkia’s home team committed 27 turnovers; netted only 23 field goals; shot 29% from the field; 25% from three and scored only 26 points in the paint. In short, it was Armageddon for this young roster and the loss will probably go down as the lowest moment in Sam Hinkie’s tanking process.
Throughout this 76ers debacle, Twitter and the Internet in general was on fire with 76ers talk, heavy criticism and even some support. I can not remember the last time so many hoop heads and casual NBA fans alike were talking about the Sixers.
So we are going to skip the usual Rapid Reacts recap and after the jump take a look at some of my favorite comments on Twitter regarding the beat down the Sixers received last night.
