As a reminder, this Philadunkia question and answer series is “loosely based” on ESPN.com’s highly successful, NBA related series of posts titled “5on5″.  Our version of this genre of posts will ask 4 Philadunkia scribes to answer 4 topical, hot button questions about our Philadelphia 76ers.

Now you’re probably asking, “Why not simply stick with the “5on5″ format that ESPN.com uses?” 

Well as any great hoops coach will tell you — playing 4on4 is the best way to truly learn the game of basketball.

NOTES, LINKS & TWEETS

Via Evan Turner’s Twitter account (thekidet) we learn that Turner has already picked out his suit for the Draft, watched the Draft Lottery at his grandparents house and is in Chicago for the Draft Combine where he watched the Lakers thump the Suns in his hotel room. 

610 WIP’s Howard Eskin broke the story two days ago and now everyone including ESPN is reporting that the Sixers are involved in ongoing negotiations with Doug Collins  to be their next head coach. 

We noted yesterday that several Draft projection “experts” are predicting that the Sixers will NOT select Evan Turner at #2.  Now the Inqy’s Stephen A. Smith believes we may want to give Turner a closer look.  Stephen A. talked with several NBA scouts and the consensus from his group of contacts on Turner is, “…impressive midrange shooting. His good hands. His craftiness and his basketball IQ. The problem is NBA teams also focused on his lack of speed and athleticism, along with questions about his long-range shooting. His struggling defense struggles because of suspect lateral movement is also a minus, particularly for someone considered an NBA 2-guard.”
